Dr. Seuss-My Many Colored Days

Each year I pick a different Dr. Seuss book to celebrate his birthday. Last Friday, March 2nd, was Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday. My first graders celebrated with the book “My Many Colored Days”. Not a very popular Dr. Seuss book, but a fun book to work with. The book’s themes are colors and feelings. Here are pictures of how we celebrated March 2nd!

One balloon for each group’s color.

Our hallway decoration.

*My Classroom is a Dr. Seuss theme…which is why my bulletin board has familiar characters and the saying “Oh The Thinks You Can Think”
