Lego Star Wars

In case you missed it, I had a post on Legos and another on Star Wars. So it’s only plausible that I have one on Lego Star Wars. I love Legos. I’m a fan of Star Wars. So when the boys in my class started coming to school with paraphernalia of Lego men dressed as Han Solo and Darth Vader, I was intrigued.

The “Bible” of Lego Star Wars is this Visual Dictionary. This is by no means a small book. It’s massive and I had multiple students carry this baby around every day. If there was ever a second of free time, this bad boy was pulled out and a crowd of seven and eight year olds flocked to it. If you can find it at Walmart it’s only $13. Amazon sells it for $14 +s/h.

Want to know how to draw Lego Star Wars men like Han Solo and a Stormtrooper? You can go to to learn how. Then you can draw them on white wrapping paper for any little boys’ birthday present (Ashley Ann Campbell’s sister drew these characters on Ashely’s sons’ present).

At Living Locurto, Amy Locurto has a free printable lunch tag. One featuring Anakin Skywalker and one with Darth Vadar. They can be personalized with your own name!

Ashley Ann posted a blog featuring photos from her oldest son’s Lego party. At the party she provided Lego Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) coloring sheets to help keep the boys occupied. You can find Lego Star Wars coloring sheets here.

Lastly I will leave you with a Lego Star Wars YouTube video that was released for Star Wars Day (May the Fourth…”May the Force”, get it?)
